Summary of thesis results: - Systematizing theoretical issues regarding active learning in general and active learning in Political Science among students in particular. - Analyzing the current state of active learning in Political Science among students at the People's Police College I, as manifested in the following aspects: Awareness of the meaning and importance of Political Science; Students' attitudes towards the subject; Actions in studying Political Science; and Learning outcomes. Investigating the causes of this situation. Through research, it is found that the level of active learning in Political Science among students at the People's Police College I is not high, and there is a lack of consistency across all aspects of active learning. Many factors affect students' active learning in Political Science. These include subjective factors such as: students lacking appropriate learning methods, lack of interest in the subject, and limited cognitive abilities. And objective reasons such as: difficult and abstract subject matter, excessive theory, inappropriate teaching methods of teachers, limited textbooks and reference materials… - We propose several measures to stimulate active learning of Political Science among students at the People's Police Intermediate School I, contributing to improving the quality of their learning in the subject: developing a suitable curriculum and teaching plan for Political Science, innovating teaching methods for teachers, raising students' awareness of the meaning and importance of Political Science, and building correct learning motivation for students, guiding students on learning methods and developing necessary learning skills, and investing in providing materials, equipment, and facilities to support teaching and learning. - Based on the research results of the current situation, we propose several recommendations to contribute to improving students' active learning of Political Science. 11. Summary of the findings of the thesis: None The research results are the followings: - Systematixe arguments on positive learning in general and positive learning in politics in particular. - Analyze the facts about positiveness in learning politics of People's police college's students in terms of: meaningful awareness, the importance of politics; student' behaviors towards the subject, the study of the subject and its result, in addition to the research of the causes to these facts. On the facts basis, in can be seen that learning politics in the college has not seemed to be highly positive resulting from lack of homogeneity among the sides of positive learning. There are many reasons affecting positive learning, including subjective and negative ones. The subjective ones can be put forward for the students as they lack appropriate studying methods, have poor passion for the subject and limited acknowledgement. The negative ones are: difficult and abstract content of the subject, eccessive theory, inappropriate teaching methods given by the tutors, insufficient reference books. - Make proposals in order to stimulate the positiveness in learning politics in the college, helping improve the studying quality: set up suitable plan for the subject, upgrade teaching methods for tutors; raise students' awareness of the importance of the subject; together with establishing right incentives for students; giving them instructions to the methods of studying and practicing essential skills, providing them with documents, facilities. - On the basis of the facts above, we make some proposals for the increase in the positiveness of learning politics. 12.
