Mythological poetics is a literary technique that has been used by modern Vietnamese writers in recent years as a new approach to exploring the real world and humanity. The topic "The Mythological Poetics of Nguyen Binh Phuong" was chosen because Nguyen Binh Phuong is a representative writer of modern Vietnamese novels, and mythological poetics is a prominent feature of his successful works.

This thesis explores the poetics of myth in various aspects: character systems, plot with mythical motifs, and mythical space and time. During the research process, the thesis compares Nguyen Binh Phuong's novels with those of several domestic and foreign authors to highlight similarities and differences. Through this, it affirms the author's contribution to the renewal of the novel in particular and Vietnamese literature in general.

Legendary poetics is a kind of literary composition method which is widely used by modern Vietnamese writers as a new way to explore the real world and humanity. This dessert examines "Legendary poetics in novels of Nguyen Binh Phuong" because Nguyen Binh Phuong is a typical novelist of modern Vietnamese literature; and legendary poetics is the successful penmanship used in his works of fiction.

The scope of thesis on legendary poetics covers: character system, plot with legendary motifs, legendary space and time. The thesis also makes a comparison between novels of Nguyen Binh Phuong with works of some other Vietnamese and foreign writers to figure out the similarities and differences. Based on these findings, the thesis confirms great contributions of the writer in literary modernism of fiction in particular and Vietnamese Literature in general.
