This thesis presents the characteristics of the "Four Immortals," their ideological and aesthetic values, and the artistic features of the legends surrounding them. Simultaneously, the thesis clarifies the role and significance of the "Four Immortals" symbols in Vietnamese culture in general and the cultural space of the Northern Delta in particular.
This study examines the legends of the "Four Immortals" in relation to other cultural elements within the cultural space of the Northern Delta to understand the positive impacts and far-reaching influence of the "Four Immortals" on folk life. From this, it identifies the values, limitations, and recommendations for preserving and promoting the cultural values of the legends of the "Four Immortals" within the cultural space of the Northern Delta.

The character features of the “Four Immortal characters”, the value of thought – aesthetic as well as the artistic characteristics of the legend are highlighted in the thesis. Besides, the thesis clarifies the role and meaning of symbols “Four Immortal characters” in Vietnamese culture in general and in the North delta space in particular.
We can see the positive and profound effects of the “Four Immortal characters” in folk life through studying the legend of the “Four Immortals” characters in relation to other cultural elements in the delta culture space. From that point of view, the values, limitations and recommendations are brought out for preserving and promoting the cultural values of the legend of the “Four Immortal characters” in the North delta culture space.
