Thesis: Key urban planning issues in current online journalism, consisting of 3 chapters:
- Chapter 1: Theoretical and practical basis of the issue of planning key urban areas in online newspapers
- Chapter 2: Survey of key urban planning issues in Vietnamese online newspapers today
- Chapter 3: Issues and Solutions for Improving the Quality of Information on Key Urban Planning Issues in Online Newspapers
This thesis clarifies some theories regarding the communication of key urban planning issues on online newspapers; the role of key urban planning and the views and orientations of the Party and State in communicating on this issue. The author surveys three online newspapers, VnExpress, Construction, and Economy & Urban, on their information and communication regarding key urban planning issues. Through this, the author assesses the successes and limitations in content and form impacting the public, and identifies issues that need to be addressed. Recommendations and solutions are offered to improve the effectiveness of building communication messages on key urban planning issues on online newspapers in the future; proactive, transparent, and directional information dissemination to form positive public opinion and create social consensus for participation in building sustainable urban development in Vietnam.
11. Practical application:
Based on research and media coverage of key urban planning issues on online newspapers, this thesis serves as a reference document connecting leaders of functional agencies, competent authorities at all levels, specialized agencies, and media outlets to develop synchronized policies, guidelines, and solutions for communicating key urban planning issues on online newspapers in a more engaging way, attracting widespread public attention. All levels, sectors, and local governments need to continue paying attention to urban planning, including implementing appropriate policies, mechanisms, and investments to build and develop key urban planning in the future. Simultaneously, this thesis contributes to improving the quality of information and communication, disseminating knowledge, and thereby raising awareness and changing public behavior regarding urban planning in general and key urban planning in particular.
