Implementing land consolidation, plot exchange, and building large-scale model fields step by step contributes to overcoming the situation of fragmented land, creating conditions for planning concentrated production areas, facilitating the application of science, technology, and agricultural mechanization, reducing production costs, increasing productivity and economic efficiency.
Towards rural areas with open commodity production and integrated markets. Promote rapid agricultural and rural development, encourage everyone to participate in the market, limit risks for farmers, reduce the gap between rich and poor and the gap in living standards between rural and urban areas.
The results of the land consolidation and plot exchange in Chuong My district have significantly increased the area of plots and reduced the number of plots per household. 32 communes out of 32 communes that had to implement land consolidation have completed the land division. The communes that have completed land division have had their average area per plot increase from 3 to 4 times. The average number of plots per household has decreased from 3 to 4 times. The average number of plots per household before the conversion was 4.5 plots per household, but after the conversion, the average was only 1.3 plots per household. The planning of the intra-field traffic and irrigation systems is economical and appropriate, ensuring the best conditions for production for households.

Executing land re-division and land re-arrangement policy and making of the big farms has been slowly solving the problem of the fragmentation of farming land and boosting the productivity of the planned farming zones. It also helps in applying the sciences, technologies and making agriculture become machine-based industry, reducing the costs and increasing the productivity and profit of the work.
Looking forward to have opened markets for the rural area with more opportunities. Promoting the agriculture and boosting the development of the rural area.
Encouraging farmers to take part in the market in order to reduce the risks as well as the gap between the poor and the rich, narrowing the gap of the living standards of the people in the urban area and people in the rural area.
The work of re-division and re-arrangement of the farming land in the Chuong My district has successfully created the big size farms and reduce the no of pieces of land per family
There have been 32 out of 32 communes followed by the policy of re-division and re-arrangement of the farming land. As a result of this policy the size of each piece of cultivated land has increased 3 times at least and the no of pieces of the cultivated land per family reduced 4 times minimum. It was 4.5 pieces per family in the past but now it has reduced to 1.3 pieces per family.
Finally this policy helps in re-planning the land so it improves the transportation and irrigation system , which has created the best conditions for the farmers for agriculture.
