10. Summary of the thesis results:
- The thesis systematizes the theoretical and practical basis offoreign affairs informationforeign relationsDefense in the Press. Through a survey of programs on the Vietnam National Defense Television Channel from January 2020 to February 2021 and several public groups, this thesis provides a detailed analysis and assessment of the current situation, and draws conclusions on some issues arising in the work of external defense information on the Vietnam National Defense Television Channel. Accordingly, as a television channel with many specialized programs on defense and security, the Vietnam National Defense Television Channel has basically ensured the fulfillment of its functions, tasks, principles, and objectives as the mouthpiece of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense in the work of external defense information. However, there are still limitations regarding the duplication of news reporting between different formats on the channel, the inconsistent quality of products, and the fact that the content of programs on this topic is quite rich but not in-depth and comprehensive in all aspects. To meet the demands of the new situation and better serve the propaganda work and public needs, innovation, creativity, and improving the quality of products are also urgent issues for the Vietnam National Television channel.
- To establish a number of recommendations and solutions to improve the effectiveness of defense foreign affairs information on the Vietnam Defense Television Channel, related to the organization and planning of defense foreign affairs information production, human resource planning and training, and the development of existing potential.
11Practical applications:
- The results of the assessment of the current situation provide an objective and important basis for the QPVN television channel in particular, and television units in general, to review their defense foreign affairs information work, thereby drawing lessons learned and proposing new directions and development goals, making an important contribution to achieving the overall goal of defense foreign affairs information work and protecting the Fatherland from early on and from afar.
At the same time, this topic also serves as a basis for researchers to continue analyzing and exploring comprehensive solutions from both press management agencies and reporters and editors to effectively implement the task of foreign defense information dissemination on television.
12Further research directions:
- Studying the Party's guidelines and viewpoints, the State's policies, and closely following the directives of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense.Regarding foreign affairs and defense information, the aim is to propose solutions to improve the quality and effectiveness of propaganda work in the new situation.

ButThe thesis systematizes the theoretical and practical basis on external information and information of defense relations on press. Through survey researches on bulletins and programs broadcasting on QPVN channel from Jan. 2020 to Feb. 2021 and a group of people, the thesis lines out detailed analysises as well as assessment of information on defense diplomacy on QPVN channel. With many specialized programs on national defense and security, QPVN channel has well fulfilled its functions and mandates as the organ of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense, including disseminating the information of defense diplomacy. However, the channel still overlaps products among programs, issues on product's quality, content, and expression. To meet the mission's requirements in the new context, and better serve the dissemination and public needs, the innovation, creativity, and quality improvement of products is an urgent issue for the QPVN channel.
ButThetthesis also suggests somerecommendations and measures to improve the effectiveness of defense diplomat information on the QPVN channel, related to production of programs on defensemillioninformation, human resources training, and effectively exploiting potential.
