Affirming academic prestige and important role in political and ideological educationThe Party cell of the Faculty of Political Science currently has 24 party members, including 18 official party members (15 faculty staff, 3 students) and 6 probationary party members (all students). During the 2022-2025 term, the Faculty of Political Science has changes in the work of leadership and management staff, many staff and lecturers have reached retirement age while new recruitment is not timely, many young staff are in the process of training and perfecting their expertise, leading to certain fluctuations and gaps in personnel work.
As a basic science, the Faculty also has difficulties and challenges when it must ensure academic quality but also take into account the conditions for being ready for autonomy; the human resource market and training market have increasingly strong competition and strict quality screening.
Comrade Nguyen Van Chieu - Party Cell Secretary presented the Report on evaluating the leadership work of the Party Cell in implementing the Resolution of the Party Cell Congress for the term 2022 - 2025.
The report shows that the Faculty's operations are stable and developing sustainably with the establishment of a synchronous management system, especially in teaching, scientific research and international cooperation, creating the premise for stronger development in the future.
The high rate of party members among the teaching staff helps the Party Cell to carry out political and professional tasks in a synchronous, fast and effective manner.
The Faculty is the main unit teaching Ho Chi Minh Thought in the entire Vietnam National University, Hanoi, affirming its academic reputation and important role in political and ideological education.
Highly qualified faculty, academic reputation, creating advantages in training, research and academic cooperation. A large system of learners, alumni and partner network, many students and alumni hold important positions in government agencies, press, diplomacy, scientific research, helping to strengthen connections and support practical training.
The Party cell has restructured the apparatus towards streamlining and efficiency, creating the premise for sustainable development, organizing and managing training in a professional and flexible manner, providing maximum support to learners. Postgraduate training has developed strongly, with innovative teaching methods, enrollment and international cooperation. The Faculty has developed new training programs, expanded short-term training, and cooperated with foreign partners. In particular, experts from India, Germany, Korea, and Russia have participated in teaching and signed agreements to exchange lecturers and students.
Research activities have achieved many important results. Over 90% of lecturers preside over or participate in scientific projects at the State, Ministry, Hanoi National University and grassroots levels. The projects not only serve academic purposes but also make important contributions to policy advice for the Party and the State.
The report also provided a general assessment and lessons learned from the implementation of the Party Congress resolution for the 2022-2025 term.
Enhance competitiveness with a leading and pioneering role in the higher education systemThe entire Congress reached a high consensus in determining the slogan for action, viewpoints, directions, goals, tasks, solutions and work targets for the 2025-2027 term.
With the goal of building the Party Cell of the Faculty of Political Science into a developed unit, with the capacity to compete and adapt to the new context; gradually becoming a strong training and scientific research unit in terms of expertise, playing a leading and pioneering role in the university education system, the Congress of the Party Cell of the Faculty of Political Science has determined the Action Slogan for the term 2025 - 2027 as
“Solidarity - Responsibility - Efficiency”.The Party Cell implements the guiding viewpoint of promoting democracy, responsibility, solidarity, setting an example, innovation, and creating breakthroughs in organization, staff, training, scientific research, international cooperation, and Faculty management, aiming for autonomy, sustainable development, and enhancing the position in the university education system. Maintain solidarity and unity, create conditions for staff, lecturers, and students to develop comprehensively, contributing to building a strong Faculty and University. Develop in a sustainable direction, with a focus and key points, creating breakthroughs in training, scientific research, and international cooperation. Take advantage of the intelligence, resources, opportunities, and creativity of the staff, lecturers, students, and alumni to continue affirming the position of the Faculty of Political Science.

Delegates attending the Congress discussed and contributed many opinions to the political reports; voted by secret ballot and reached high consensus in electing the Party Committee for the term 2025 - 2027; elected 09 official delegates, 02 alternate delegates to attend the School Party Congress and approved the Congress Resolution. Accordingly, the Party Committee of the Faculty of Political Science for the term 2025 - 2027 includes: Comrade Nguyen Van Chieu holds the position of Party Cell Secretary, Comrade Nguyen Duy Quynh holds the position of Deputy Party Cell Secretary; Comrade Tran Thi Quang Hoa is a Party Committee member.
