Party Congress IV of the Headquarters: Professional - Friendly - Creative - Effective

Currently, Party Cell IV of the Headquarters Block has 12 party members working in the following units: 05 party members in the Department of Scientific Research Management, 07 party members in the Department of Student Affairs and Quality Assurance (a newly established department based on the merger of 02 units: Department of Politics and Student Affairs and Center for Training Quality Assurance).
As a Party Cell under the Board of Directors, within the scope of its functions and tasks, during the 2022-2025 term, Party Cell IV has achieved many important results in directing staff work, assisting in the management of scientific research, ensuring the quality of education, publishing journals, contributing directly to improving the quality of training and research; meeting social needs and gradually integrating internationally.
During the past term, Party Cell IV advised the School's Board of Directors to issue many policies to support and encourage scientific research for both staff and students, creating a scientific research environment. Research activities, publications, and scientific seminars were implemented according to plan, actively innovating the implementation form on the technology platform.
Activities supporting international publication and reward policies have achieved many outstanding results, gradually going into depth, creating support and promoting the effectiveness of improving the international publication capacity of staff, promoting student scientific research in the direction of combining expansion and investment.
Internal quality assurance activities; quality assessment of educational institutions, quality assessment of training programs, and quality improvement activities were implemented on schedule and achieved high results; the School Quality Improvement Project for the period 2022 - 2026 was organized, implemented, and reviewed. The School's internal quality assurance system has been basically completed, operated, and continuously improved.
The Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities has strengthened its staff, successfully completed and exceeded its annual publication targets, affirmed its reputation in the domestic scientific community and gradually reached international standards.
At the end of the term, Party Cell IV had major changes due to the implementation of the policy of streamlining, merging, and preparing for the new stage of university autonomy. However, all Party members in the Party Cell as well as cadres of the units completely trusted and supported the policy of the School's Board of Directors, quickly stabilized, and quickly got to work with new tasks in the new context.
Based on the achievements, the Political Report of Party Cell IV of the Headquarters has set out the direction and tasks for the next term: Continue to focus on strengthening the leadership of the Party Cell to create a qualitative change in the activities of the Party Cell in the following areas: Scientific research management; support, care for learners and ensure the quality of education; focus on Party development work, improve the quality of the team.
Develop and implement specialized resolutions associated with the professional tasks of each unit, in the context of university autonomy and university governance to create a qualitative change in the work of Party cells and units; continue to improve work efficiency, innovate university governance, reform administration and professional expertise, enhance digital transformation, apply science and technology in scientific research, quality assurance, care for learners, and spread the image of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities as professional - friendly - effective.
Party members attending the Congress expressed their agreement with the contents of the documents submitted to the Party Congress at higher levels and the Political Report of the Party Cell, and emphasized a number of solutions: regular training, improving the quality of staff; applying technology, especially GEN AI, in administration and connecting and caring for learners.
Speaking at the 4th Party Congress of the School Board, comrade Hoang Anh Tuan - Party Secretary, Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities emphasized the need for standardization in Party affairs, professionalism in professional work, and increased application of information technology to improve the quality and efficiency of work, together with the entire School Party Committee to adapt to the trend of autonomy and rapid changes in higher education today. To achieve that goal, the Party Committee needs to have appropriate solutions to motivate all Party members to promote the spirit of dedication, effort, multi-talent, multi-tasking and creativity.
The Congress unanimously elected the Party Cell Committee for the 2025-2027 term, including 03 comrades: Comrade Pham Huy Cuong - Secretary; Comrade Nguyen Thu Loan - Deputy Secretary; Comrade Nguyen Thi Tuyet Mai - Party Cell Committee member and elected 08 official delegates and 02 alternate delegates to attend the School Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term.
