The Party cell, comprising the Administrative Block, currently has 19 Party members belonging to 4 departments: the Board of Directors (1 member), the Center for Foreign Languages and Training Cooperation (1 member), and the Training Department (13 members). Two members of the University's Party Committee directly participate in the cell's activities and provide guidance. All Party members in the cell demonstrate a high sense of responsibility for their assigned tasks, completing them on time and ensuring quality and efficiency. Internal unity is strong, with Party members showing mutual support and cooperation, readily assisting and sharing common tasks, and being proactive in handling work. The spirit of innovation in service attitude, as part of the overall university reform strategy, has been effectively implemented in most areas and has received positive feedback from the Institutes, Faculties, and Departments.
The Congress reported on the assessment of the Party branch's leadership in implementing the Resolution of the Party Branch Congress for the 2022-2025 term regarding various aspects of activities: political and ideological education, building and developing the unit; innovating recruitment methods, improving training quality, meeting social needs and international integration.
Comrade Bui Thanh Nam - Secretary of the Party Branch - presented the Report evaluating the leadership work of the Party Branch in implementing the Resolution of the Party Branch Congress for the 2022-2025 term and the Self-Assessment Report of the Party Committee.
The Congress defined the direction and tasks for the 2025-2027 term, emphasizing the affirmation of the Party branch's leadership role in the task of innovation to adapt to the trend of university autonomy, streamlining the organizational structure for efficiency, bringing training and student management towards professionalism, innovation, and creativity, and making important contributions to the development of the University in the context of the 4.0 industrial revolution.
The overall goal for the 2025-2027 term is to foster internal unity, building upon tradition and utilizing all resources to develop the Party branch in line with the University's general spirit of innovation and creativity, focusing on several key objectives such as: proactively preparing resources for university autonomy; structuring "quality human resources - streamlined organization"; technologizing training and student management; standardizing operations according to the principles of professionalism, efficiency, and humanity, striving to successfully complete assigned tasks.
Comrade Nguyen Thi Thanh Ha discussed and contributed many opinions to the political reports.
The delegates attending the congress cast secret ballots and unanimously elected the Party Committee for the 2025-2027 term; elected 8 official delegates and 2 alternate delegates to attend the University Party Congress and adopted the Congress Resolution.
Accordingly, the Party Committee of Branch I of the Administrative Block for the term 2025-2027 includes: Comrade Dinh Tien Hieu as Secretary of the Party Branch, Comrade Pham Van Hue as Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch; and Comrade Dinh Van Nam as a member of the Party Committee.
The congress held a secret ballot and reached a high level of consensus in electing the Party Committee for the 2025-2027 term.
The Party Committee of Branch I of the Administrative Block for the term 2025-2027 was introduced at the Congress.
Based on the discussions within the Party branch, the Congress unanimously approved the direction and targets, including the effective implementation of the management staff planning in the units under the Party branch; paying attention to training the staff within the unit to build a team of cadres that meets the requirements of standardization and modernization according to the general plan and policies of the University. Each Party member must constantly study and research to improve political awareness, firmly grasp the guidelines and policies of the Party and the State to meet all needs in the new situation.
Regarding professional work, the Party Committee leads the implementation of key tasks: Focusing on developing new training disciplines and programs to meet the needs of scientific development and society. Effectively managing various types and forms of training. Continuing to invest in developing the learning materials system and innovating teaching methods towards increased online interaction between lecturers and learners to meet the requirements of training quality in the digital age; continuing to research and innovate assessment methods to meet the requirements of in-depth credit-based training. Strengthening coordination with relevant departments and training units to effectively carry out the work of program development, training organization, and student recruitment and career counseling. Continuing to innovate the content and methods of training management and student affairs to ensure academic discipline and the effectiveness of school management.
The Congress unanimously agreed on the Party Branch's targets for the 2025-2027 term: The Party Branch will achieve the status of a clean and strong Party Branch; all Party members will be rated as having completed their tasks well or better; 100% of cadres and employees in the unit will achieve the title of advanced worker or higher; the unit will achieve the title of excellent collective labor in each academic year; and at least one new member will be admitted into the Party.
In his address to the Congress, Comrade Bui Thanh Nam - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - emphasized that in the new term, the Party Branch needs to provide close guidance and focus on developing new training programs to meet the demands of society and the strong development of science and technology. Student care and training management should continue to be carried out professionally, with quality, innovation, and creativity.
