Congress of the Party Cell of the Faculty of Archival Science and Office Management: unanimous, focused, affirming the central position in the field of archives, administration and management

According to the Political Report presented to the Congress, the Party Cell of the Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​and International Relations has 10 party members, but 2 of them are studying and improving their qualifications abroad. With a small workforce, but in the 2022-2025 term, promoting the highest sense of responsibility, initiative, and creativity of the comrades in the Party Committee as well as all party members, the Party Cell of the Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​and International Relations has achieved a number of results: The Party Cell maintains regular activities, party members fully attend, grasp the Party's viewpoints, the development orientation of the School and integrate them into lectures; Party development work has achieved good results, admitting 6 party members who are students. Regarding the work of organizing staff: Successfully streamlining the apparatus, restructuring from 4 departments to 2; perfecting the leadership apparatus of the Faculty. During the 2022-2025 term, the Faculty successfully organized 04 Seminars and 02 scientific conferences, including 01 international scientific conference in France, and published the first international monograph consisting of all articles by lecturers in the Faculty published in Germany.
Training work has also basically completed the assigned targets for undergraduate and postgraduate training, and accredited training programs on schedule, and proceeded to build and supplement 02 new training majors of the Archival Studies major (expected to be completed and enroll students in 2025). In particular, the Faculty of Archives and Archives is also one of the pioneers in opening short-term training courses, promptly meeting the needs of society. In the 2 years of 2023-2024, the Faculty's short-term training courses attracted about 3,500 students nationwide.
Promoting the scientific reputation of the faculty and research experts, the Faculty has expanded close cooperation with many domestic and foreign partners, typically cooperating with the 1C Software Company of the Russian Federation, organizing many activities that bring efficiency and practical value to the faculty and students of the School.

Comrade Cam Anh Tuan, Party Cell Secretary, presented the Political Report emphasizing achievements and pointing out some shortcomings in the activities of the Party Cell of the Faculty of Law and International Relations for the 2022-2025 term. Comrade Le Thi Nguyet Luu, Party Cell Member, presented the Review Report of the Faculty Party Cell for the term 2022-2025) Comrade Nguyen Hong Duy presented a summary of comments on the Political Report of the School Party Committee and the Political Report of the Faculty Committee.

That is the key solution affirmed in the Political Report of the Party Cell as well as the determination of all Party Cell members when exchanging and discussing the Direction of activities for the term 2025 - 2027.
With a frank, open and democratic spirit, the delegates discussed a number of key issues in training, scientific research and staff development, emphasizing a number of difficulties in the context of autonomy, "fierce" competition between training institutions, limited recruitment sources for training levels (especially postgraduate), social demands and employment trends in the digital transformation era. In order to be successfully autonomous, while affirming the central position of the Faculty in training and research in the fields of archiving, administration and management, the delegates expressed their wishes and expectations that the Party Committee could come up with more decisive and key solutions; build key research orientations for research groups; At the same time, boldly innovate and change inappropriate content, supplement updated and modern content in the training program, in order to foster creativity, self-employment, start-up and job creation for society in VNU-USSH students; strong and substantial digital transformation. Based on the opinions exchanged, the Congress agreed on the development direction and goals of the Party Cell of the Faculty of Documents and Archives for the 2025-2027 term: Maintain and promote the central role of the Faculty in research, training and technology transfer in documents, archives, administration, office management, meeting the requirements of digital transformation; Determined to complete the task targets, celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Faculty's establishment, 60 years of university training in archival studies; Improve professional qualifications and scientific research capacity; Innovate the training program in an attractive, practical and updated direction to attract learners of all levels and systems; Focus resources on implementing oriented scientific topics associated with international publications, promote research on digital administration, digital documents - archives, management and processing of digital archive data.
Speaking at the Congress, Comrade Bui Thanh Nam, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, fully agreed with and highly appreciated the achievements of the Party Cell of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities in the past term. “With a small team, an individual must hold many positions, both management and professional, but with a creative spirit, daring to think and dare to do, the Faculty has achieved a number of achievements that can be considered breakthroughs, “for the first time”. The results in research and publishing cooperation activities with foreign partners of the Faculty are bright spots, contributing to the realization of internationalization in the development strategy of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in the coming time. The development direction identified in the Political Report, as well as the exchange and agreement at the Congress, shows the vision, determination, consensus and dedication of the entire leadership, cadres and Party members in the Party Cell”.
Comrade Bui Thanh Nam expressed his hope that in the coming term, the Party Cell of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences will continue to achieve breakthrough achievements, contributing to affirming and spreading the brand of Hanoi Humanities not only domestically but also regionally and internationally. In an atmosphere of solidarity and high consensus, the Congress elected Comrade Cam Anh Tuan to hold the position of Party Cell Secretary, Comrade Nguyen Hong Duy to hold the position of Deputy Party Cell Secretary for the 2025-2027 term, and elected delegates representing the Party Cell of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences to attend the Congress of Party Delegates of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities for the 2025-2030 term.
