First and foremost, the Party Branch consistently performs well in political and ideological work for all Party members and the general public within the Faculty. Party members in the Branch always have faith in the Party's leadership; they exemplify adherence to State laws; and they maintain a firm stance on political and social issues. All Party members in the Branch are conscious of using their professional activities to conduct propaganda and provide ideological and political guidance to students and trainees across all training programs.

Regarding professional work, the Party Committee of the Faculty of Archival Studies and Office Management always pays attention to and directs the expansion of academic levels and training methods to affirm the Faculty's position in the field of training personnel for document management, archiving, and office work. The Faculty is one of 8 units of the University that trains students in 2 majors (Architectural Studies and Office Management). With a tradition of research and training for over 50 years, the Archival Studies major is trained at 3 levels: Undergraduate, Master's, and Doctoral; the Master's level is trained according to 2 programs (Research-oriented Archival Studies and Application-oriented Archival Studies). The undergraduate program in Archival Studies was accredited according to the standards of the Ministry of Education and Training in 2019 and was evaluated as achieving good results. The Office Management major is currently trained at 2 levels: Undergraduate and Master's; the Master's level is trained with a research orientation, with plans to add an application-oriented training. The Faculty's training products are well-received and highly valued by the labor market. Furthermore, to expand international cooperation in archival training, the Faculty of Archival Studies and Office Management has partnered with Aix-Marseille University (France) to develop a Master's program in Archival Studies and Digitization. In addition, the Faculty of Archival Studies and Office Management is one of the few training units that continues to maintain a part-time training system to meet the needs of local officials seeking to improve their professional skills. Another highlight of the Faculty's training activities is the maintenance and development of short-term training programs with professional certificates. This training format helps the Faculty affirm its training position, meet market demands, and expand partnerships, while also helping faculty members hone their skills and develop flexible teaching methods suitable for various target groups and teaching requirements.

In order to improve the quality of training and implement the "research university" orientation, the Party Committee of the Faculty of Archival Studies and Office Management also pays serious attention to and directs the implementation of scientific research. The Party Committee always takes measures to encourage and motivate teaching staff to publish research results on reputable forums. Many staff members have published and participated in international scientific conferences in Japan, South Korea, etc. In addition, the Party Committee has directed the Faculty to organize many collaborative activities and scientific research with many individuals and organizations in Vietnam and abroad, such as: coordinating with Gakushuin University (Japan) to organize seminars for graduate students; meeting with lecturers and students of Texas Tech University; inviting Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Phuong Ngoc (Aix-Marseille University) to exchange ideas on public and private archives in France; and PhD candidates. Jade Thau discussed archival materials at the French School of Far Eastern Studies... Notably, in 2019, the Faculty successfully organized an international conference on the theme "Memories, recollections, and archival documents about Vietnam - Humanistic values viewed from multiple perspectives."with the participation of many researchers from France, the United States, Germany, Switzerland, and several other countries.

Regarding organizational development, the Party Branch always prioritizes Party building and rectification; implementing democracy and transparency in the organization's activities; and upholding the pioneering and exemplary role of Party members. The Party Branch also consistently promotes the comprehensive leadership role of the Party organization, especially over the Trade Union, Youth Union, and Student Association of the Faculty. Through this, the Party Branch has identified, monitored, and nurtured many outstanding individuals for the Party. During the past term, the Party Branch recommended 7 outstanding individuals to the University Party Committee for Party membership. These young Party members will continue to contribute to various agencies, organizations, and localities after graduation.
It can be said that, during the past term, with the strength of collective unity, the Party Branch of the Department of Archival Studies and Office Management has overcome many difficulties to successfully complete the assigned tasks. To acknowledge these efforts and achievements, the Department's Party Branch was awarded the title of "Party Branch of the Department" by the University Party Committee.A clean and strong Party branch" for many consecutive years. In particular, in 2018, the Party Branch was honored to be one of three Party Branches recognized as "Outstanding, clean, strong, and exemplary Party branch."The Party Branch Congress for the 2020-2022 term will be an opportunity for the entire Party Branch to summarize and evaluate the results of its leadership and guidance in the past term and to determine the key directions and tasks in leading and directing all aspects of the unit's activities in the new term, especially in the context of welcoming the 28th Party Congress of the University, scheduled to be held in May 2020."
