On November 3, 2023, the Institute of Policy and Management celebrated its 10th anniversary and 20th anniversary of cooperation with the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation, Federal Republic of Germany. This event marked the development journey with remarkable contributions of the Institute in the fields of policy and management research in Vietnam and was an opportunity to review the achievements in cooperation projects with the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation Southeast Asia - Representative Office in Hanoi on research activities on policy, science and education, issues of ecological - social transition and sustainable development.

On October 28, at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH), the Opening Ceremony and Preliminary Round of the Northern Region of the Vietnamese Speaking Contest for Foreign Students Studying in Vietnam in 2023, organized by the Ministry of Education and Training, will take place.

This morning, October 24, 2023, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) in collaboration with the KF - Samsung Scholarship Fund (Korea) organized a scholarship award ceremony for outstanding students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies.

On October 20, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) had a meeting and worked with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hoang Hai - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Standing Deputy Director of VNU on the establishment of a strong Research and Training Group on Philosophy.

Based on the cooperation agreement between AEON Group and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, the University requests the Board of Directors of Faculties/Institutes to notify students participating in the AEON 1% Club scholarship program for the 2023-2024 school year, each scholarship is worth 300 USD/student/school year according to the following specific contents:

On October 28, at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH), the Preliminary Round of the Vietnamese Speaking Contest for Foreign Students in Vietnam in 2023, hosted by the Ministry of Education and Training, will take place.

On October 14-15, 2023, the Party Committee of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU successfully organized the 2023 Party Awareness Training Class with the participation of nearly 240 students who are outstanding youth union members and active masses of 22 Party cells under the Party Committee of the school.

On October 13, 2023, Associate Professor Dr. Dao Thanh Truong (Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, VNU-USSH) chaired a reception and exchange with representatives of 11 universities within the framework of the 2023 Taiwan Higher Education Exhibition.

Within the framework of the 2023 Taiwan Higher Education Exhibition, on October 13, 2023, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) and a number of Vietnamese universities signed a memorandum of understanding with universities in Taiwan (China) on cooperation in training, scientific research, student and lecturer exchange.

The exhibition, organized by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU in collaboration with the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Vietnam on October 13, 2023, attracted thousands of parents, students, universities and businesses to attend.

The University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) received notice from the British Embassy about the UK Government's Chevening scholarship program for the 2024/2025 academic year. Specifically as follows:

On October 9, 2023, Professor A.Saj U.Mendis, Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Vietnam, gave a very successful scientific presentation at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) on the topic: Vietnam's economic rise and success in the renovation period: Causes, Foreign Policy & Prospects

Ten female lecturers and researchers will be selected to participate in a two-day exchange and experience sharing session on scientific publication in peer-reviewed international journals.

On October 6, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) had a working session with the Embassy of Ireland in Vietnam within the framework of educational cooperation and organized a seminar on “Economic transformation in Ireland”.
