Attending the training program were comrade Vu Hoang Linh - Principal, Commander of the Military Command of the University of Natural Sciences; comrade Nguyen Thanh Binh - Head of Politics and Student Affairs, Deputy Political Commissar of the Military Command of the University of Natural Sciences and comrade Bui Thanh Nam - Vice Chairman of the University Council, Head of Training Department, University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
Speaking at the opening of the training course, Prof. Dr. Vu Hoang Linh affirmed the importance and core role of the militia and self-defense force in ensuring national security and defense, promoting their strength and intelligence to fulfill their duties to the people and the Fatherland, contributing to the activities of protecting political security and national defense. Accordingly, soldiers need to clearly identify the noble responsibility of seriously completing the training course, complying with regulations, studying and training routines, ensuring safety of people and weapons, and striving to achieve high results in the final exam.
Comrade Bui Thanh Nam said: The militia and self-defense force is both the core force in production and work, and the civilian force protecting national security and ensuring social order and safety, fighting and preventing crime. Therefore, through this training course, the core militia and self-defense force of the two schools needs to make every effort to consolidate ideology, promote important political spirit, awareness and knowledge of national security and defense in the new situation, as well as equip themselves with combat skills from professional officers.
At the same time, we believe that each officer and soldier of the school's militia will promote the qualities of a soldier, actively study and practice, making an important contribution to maintaining the stability of the school's security and political situation and ensuring social order and safety in Hanoi city.
According to the training plan approved by the Thanh Xuan District Military Command, the training course will take place in 7 days (from July 1, 2024 to July 9, 2024, except Saturday and Sunday). Content: Equipping basic knowledge on peaceful evolution strategies, riotous overthrow of hostile forces; ethnic and religious policies of our Party and State; economic, political, cultural - social, national defense - security situation of the locality. At the same time, soldiers will participate in training on formation and team regulations, weapon use skills, shooting practice and civil defense plans...etc... to perform well the assigned tasks and responsibilities, ready to fight to protect agencies and units when situations arise.
