10. Summary of project results:
This project involved providing psychological therapy to an adult with symptoms of depression accompanied by emotional control difficulties. The trainees used a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dementia-Based Therapy (DBT) over 20 sessions. Results showed that integrating cognitive behavioral therapy techniques was significantly effective in treating depression and emotional outbursts in the adult client. CBT techniques helped reduce depressive symptoms and stabilize functional activity, while DBT focused on managing emotions and building safe and trustworthy interpersonal relationships.
11. Practical applications:
Integrating CBT and DBT techniques may be an option in treating depressive disorders accompanied by emotional management difficulties. This could be a therapeutic approach for psychologists when treating depressive disorders associated with other comorbidities.
12. Future research directions:
Future studies could consider therapy on a larger sample size to see the effectiveness of integrated therapy compared to traditional methods in treating treatment-resistant depression, chronic depression, or depression with other comorbidities.

10. Summary of the findings of the project:
This thesis project implements psychological intervention for an adult client presenting with depressive symptoms accompanied by difficulties in emotion regulation. The intervention integrated Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) over the course of 20 sessions. The findings indicate that the integration of cognitive-behavioral therapeutic techniques was significantly effective in treating depression accompanied by emotional outbursts in an adult client. CBT techniques contributed to the reduction of depressive symptoms and the stabilization of functional activities. Meanwhile, DBT mainly focuses on emotion regulation and the development of safe and trusted interpersonal relationships.
11. Practical applicability, if any:
The integration of CBT and DBT techniques may serve as a viable approach for treating depressive disorders accompanied by difficulties in emotion regulation. This integrated approach may also provide a useful therapeutic direction for psychologists working in clinical settings when treating depressive disorders co-occurring with other psychological conditions.
12. Further research directions, if any:
Future studies may consider implementing the integrated therapeutic approach with larger sample groups in order to examine its effectiveness in comparison with conventional treatment methods for treatment-resistant depression, chronic depression, or depression accompanied by other comorbid disorders.
