10. Summary of thesis results:
The thesis has analyzed and pointed out the importance of data journalism in the current period, affirming that data journalism is the future development of modern electronic newspapers not only domestically but also internationally. Next, the thesis has surveyed and evaluated the current situation of organizing the production of data journalism products in 3 electronic newspapers: Dan Tri, Zingnews and Vietnamplus. From the results of this survey, the thesis has pointed out the successes, reasons for success; limitations, reasons for limitations of the process of organizing the production of data journalism products in the above 3 newspapers.
In addition, the thesis also offers some solutions to improve the quality of the process of organizing the production of data journalism products in the above 3 newspapers in particular and electronic newspapers in Vietnam in general.
Specifically, newsrooms need to invest more in technology and techniques; provide more training and recruit highly qualified personnel in data journalism; improve journalists' skills in finding data sources and fully comply with the steps in organizing the production of data journalism products; have a mechanism for awarding appropriate royalties for data journalism products to encourage and motivate staff in the agency to enthusiastically participate in the production of data journalism.
From this thesis, electronic newspaper editorial offices can refer to improve the organization of data journalism production on electronic newspapers in Vietnam today.
