The thesis has clarified the current livelihood situation of the people in Da Loc commune and the extreme impacts of climate change that have damaged the livelihoods of the people. The research process has shown that the majority of people here are clearly aware of the changes and manifestations of climate change. In particular, people also clearly recognize the extreme impacts of climate change on their family's livelihood activities, the most vulnerable livelihood areas are Crops and Livestock, and Fishing - Aquaculture. Meanwhile, these are the main livelihood activities to help people here survive and develop.

Due to the extreme impacts of climate change, the traditional livelihood activities of local people are no longer suitable, and these livelihood activities have not brought much socio-economic efficiency to the people. This is also the most urgent reason urging people to change their family's livelihood to adapt to the impacts of climate change. Research results show that people want to change their livelihood activities in the fields of cultivation and livestock farming, of which 34% of people want to develop a closed livestock farming model.

The thesis also pointed out the measures to adapt to the impacts of climate change of the local government and people here. However, these measures are not synchronous, and have not received the participation and response of the majority of people. They are mainly spontaneous and individualized. Therefore, the results from these measures have not really achieved the results and expectations of the people.

Based on the needs and urgency of the people as well as the wishes of the local government here, in order to adapt to the impact of climate change, we have built a livelihood model of "closed-loop farming of Chicken, Worms, and Manure (GTP)" for the people. The model has outlined the advantages, methods and implementation methods and a very specific and detailed implementation plan with high feasibility, which can be applied immediately to the people.

Furthermore, the thesis also provides recommendations with general and key solution groups in 3 areas: Cultivation, animal husbandry, fishing and aquaculture to help local authorities and people adapt to the extreme impacts of climate change.

11. Practical application:

The topic is a research activity in practice, so the results in the thesis are reference documents to help experts and researchers continue to build appropriate intervention models. In particular, in the thesis, the author also builds a specific intervention model, highly feasible, which can be applied to implement for people in the future. This is also one of the measures to change livelihoods to adapt to the impact of climate change, contributing to sustainable socio-economic development in the locality.
