The thesis has generalized the theory of the Mother principle in Vietnamese culture and the custom of Mother worship in Vietnam.
Based on theory and practice, the thesis has pointed out the multicultural nature of the Mother symbol in the Mother worship custom in the following aspects: natural Mother, historical Mother, mythical Mother, multi-ethnic Mother and the peak convergence in the image of the Mother of the world, Holy Mother Lieu Hanh; The thesis points out the powers of the Mother symbol: Mother with the power of mastery; Mother with the power of reproduction and creation; Mother with the power of protection, covering and creating happiness; and Mother with the power of being a symbol of perfect beauty.
The thesis points out the cultural identity through the natural character and moral values of Vietnamese mothers expressed in the custom of Mother Goddess worship.
