The thesis has summarized the general theory of the Mother principle in Vietnamese culture and the custom of worshipping the Mother Goddess in Vietnam.

Based on theoretical and practical foundations, this thesis points out the multicultural nature of the Mother symbol in the Mother worship tradition in various aspects: the natural Mother, the historical Mother, the mythical Mother, the multi-ethnic Mother, and the ultimate convergence in the image of the all-encompassing Mother Goddess, Saint Mother Lieu Hanh; the thesis also points out the powers of the Mother symbol: the Mother with the power of mastery; the Mother with the power of procreation and creation; the Mother with the power of protection, nurturing, and building happiness; and the Mother with the power to be a symbol of perfect beauty.

This thesis points out the cultural identity through the natural characteristics and moral values ​​of the Vietnamese Mother as expressed in the Mother Goddess worship tradition.
