This multicultural phenomenon in the novel *Lingshan* is manifested primarily in its traditional Chinese elements: myths, religion, customs and traditions; Chinese history from ancient times to the modern era…
And this phenomenon is also reflected in Western cultural elements through the imprint of postmodern literature in aspects such as: Cao Xingjian's conception of art and the postmodern poetics he uses in his works.
