Summary of the thesis results: The thesis emphasizes the construction of a system of villain characters in television dramas (with scripts adapted from foreign scripts) in the second decade of the 21st century:Living with Mother-in-law, The Judge and A Lifetime of Grudges. Through comparison and evaluation of these three TV series, we can see the success in building the villain system in these three films. This proves that in order for all domestic TV series to be successful, filmmakers must pay attention to building the character system when creating the script, especially the villain. And to increase the drama of the film, they must always create unique villains, according to the way of building villains, of the three films studied.
