- By studying the significant symbols in Truyen Kieu of NguyenDu's:"nature”,"hhumanities"Ssciences” this thesis has shown the creativity and the characteristics of NguyenDu's poetry which contributes in part to his unique poetic style.

- By studying and analyzing the diverse meanings of those poetic symbols, this thesis provides a basic framework to penetrate into the poetic world of NguyenDu's poems. It also helps us to have a broad view on the surface as well as the development process of medieval Vietnamese literature.

- The thesis also confirms the talent, the position, and the honorable contributions of NguyenDu's to the medieval Vietnamese literature.
