Chapter 1: Theoretical and Legal Basis for Ensuring the Security of Electronic Documents

In Chapter 1, the author presented issues related to electronic documents and ensuring the security of electronic documents. In addition, we systematized the legal basis for information security in general and electronic document security in particular. From this, we proposed a model of factors influencing the security of electronic documents, including: management solutions, technological solutions, and user behavior solutions.

Chapter 2. Current Status of Electronic Document Information Security (Based on a survey at Hanoi National University)

In Chapter 2, the author presented the formation and development; organizational structure and functions and tasks of Vietnam National University, Hanoi. In addition, we conducted qualitative and quantitative surveys of factors affecting the security of electronic documents, including: management solutions; technological solutions; and user behavior. From these results, we evaluated and compared them to identify which factors have the strongest and weakest impact.

Chapter 3. Comments, suggestions, and recommendations for solutions to ensure the security of electronic documents at Hanoi National University.

In Chapter 3, the author presents observations on the advantages and limitations, and identifies the causes of these limitations. Based on this, several specific solutions are proposed to improve the effectiveness of ensuring the security of electronic documents for Vietnam National University, Hanoi. Simultaneously, we also offer some recommendations for specific stakeholders.

11. Practical applications

The issue of ensuring information security in general, and the security of electronic documents in particular, has become a relatively new concern in recent years. Therefore, analyses and assessments of the current state of electronic document security will provide a scientific basis for management agencies in general and organizations in particular. This will give them a foundation to issue policies, regulations, and rules to ensure the security of electronic documents.

The perspectives and solutions I propose to improve the effectiveness of ensuring the security of electronic documents will serve as suggestions for management agencies, organizations, and businesses to refer to and apply in practice.

Chapter 1. Theoretical and Legal Foundations for Ensuring the Information Security of Electronic Documents

In Chapter 1 the author presents issues related to electronic documents and ensuring the information security of electronic documents. In addition, we systematize the legal framework on information security in general and on the information security of electronic documents in particular. Based on this, a model of factors affecting the information security of electronic documents is proposed, including: management measures, technological measures, and user behavior measures.

In Chapter 2 the author presents the formation and development, as well as the organizational structure, functions, and tasks of VNU. At the same time, we provide a number of recommendations tailored to specific stakeholders.

11. Applicability in practice

The issue of ensuring information security in general, and the information security of electronic documents in particular, has been considered a relatively new topic in recent years. Therefore, the analyzes and assessments of the current status of ensuring the information security of electronic documents will provide a scientific basis for management agencies in general and specialized agencies and organizations in particular. This enables them to formulate policies, regulations, and rules to ensure the information security of electronic documents.

The viewpoints and proposed measures to improve the effectiveness of ensuring the information security of electronic documents are intended to serve as suggestions for management agencies, organizations, and enterprises to consult, apply, and implement in practice.
