10. Summary of thesis results:
The thesis compares two typical ceramic craft villages, Bat Trang (Hanoi, Vietnam) and Jingdezhen (Jiangxi, China) to clarify the similarities and differences in natural conditions, history of formation, development model, and at the same time identify typical cultural values.
In terms of natural conditions and history, both craft villages were formed and developed thanks to the advantages of convenient waterway transportation and local raw materials. Bat Trang has a history of more than 700 years, while Canh Duc Tran has a longer history, up to 2000 years.
In terms of development trends, both are moving towards a market economy, focusing on brand building and international exchanges. However, Jingdezhen has made outstanding progress in optimizing its structure and training talents. Both are affected by the technological revolution, market changes and consumer demand.
Faced with challenges such as cultural conflicts in modernization, the risk of losing professions and the pressure of resource exploitation, the thesis proposes five key solutions: strengthening education and vocational training; developing cultural tourism associated with conservation; improving product quality and expanding markets; strengthening industry management; and controlling environmental pollution.
The research results confirm that, in order to develop sustainably, traditional craft villages need to maintain their identity, while proactively absorbing science and technology and innovating, thereby both protecting cultural heritage and successfully adapting to the context of globalization.

11. Summary of the findings of the thesis:
The thesis conducts a comparative study of two representative pottery villages: Bat Trang (Hanoi, Vietnam) and Jingdezhen (Jiangxi, China), aiming to elucidate the similarities and differences in their natural conditions, historical formation, development models, and to identify their distinctive cultural values.
Regarding natural conditions and history, both villages developed thanks to advantageous inland waterway traffic and local raw material sources. Bat Trang has a history of over 700 years, while Jingdezhen has a longer history, spanning up to 2000 years.
In terms of development trends, both are moving towards a market economy, focusing on brand building and international exchange. However, Jingdezhen has made superior strides in structural optimization and talent training. Both are influenced by the technological revolution, market changes, and consumer demands.
Facing challenges such as cultural conflicts in modernization, the risk of craft disappearance, and the pressure of resource exploitation, the thesis proposes five key solutions: enhancing education and vocational training; developing cultural tourism linked with preservation; improving product quality and expanding markets; improving product quality and expanding markets; strengthen industry management; and controlling environmental pollution.
The research results affirm that for sustainable development, traditional craft villages must maintain their core identity while proactively embracing scientific technology and innovation. This approach not only protects cultural heritage but also enables these pottery villages to thrive successfully in the context of globalization.
