According to epidemiological research in society, 2-5% of the general population and 29-45% of the clinical population suffer from separation anxiety. If not supported promptly, 1/3 of children with separation anxiety disorder will be diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder, and when developing later, another 1/3 will be diagnosed with depressive disorder. 1-3% of school-age children refuse to go to school each school year, 8% of students refuse to go to school at some point during their school life, this is the third most common cause of children's academic failure. In the process of supporting and working with individuals who come for psychological support, I have intervened and treated separation anxiety disorder in 7-year-old students.

Studying this case, it can be predicted that if not intervened and treated early, depression in children will seriously affect long-term learning.
