The research project "Organizing Mega Story Production in Online Newspapers: Some Theoretical Issues and Application Solutions" is of great significance in understanding and widely disseminating this new form of journalism. From this, lessons can be drawn on how online journalistic works can attract more readers in the current internet environment where readership is limited. Simultaneously, the project investigates and surveys the mass media audience's interaction with online newspapers and the Mega Story genre. To accurately assess this, the author conducted a survey, summarizing, describing, and analyzing the online newspaper readership in general and Mega Story readers in Hanoi through a survey conducted in July 2019 based on research questions. Through the study of the Mega Story genre, the author has clarified the content, form, production methods, and level of reader interaction with this new journalistic genre.
Mega stories share many similarities and differences with other journalistic genres in terms of content and form, such as headlines, lead paragraphs, and content—all journalistic elements. However, the content of a Mega story is extremely in-depth, magazine-style. Its presentation is unique, encompassing various journalistic elements including text, video, audio, images, and graphics. Therefore, producing this new journalistic genre requires significant investment in time, manpower, and finances, as well as a sophisticated journalistic mindset. Consequently, the number of works and media outlets in Vietnam producing this genre remains relatively modest.
On the other hand, the thesis also further investigates the extremely high level of public acceptance of Mega Stories on online newspapers, with 55% to 56% of readers following them daily and 35% to 36% several times a week. Overall, this corresponds to approximately 90% to 91% of people reading Mega Stories on online newspapers.
The recommendations in this thesis are derived from a medium-scale study surveying the public in Hanoi; therefore, they are only suggestive and require further discussion and in-depth research at a higher academic level. Simultaneously, they contribute significantly to the development of the Mega Story genre in online newspapers in Vietnam.

The purpose on research work "Organizing Mega story production of electronic media: Some theoretical issues and applied solutions" has great significance, to understand and popularize new types of journalism. Since then, we have learned a lesson for how electronic media works can attract more readers in the internet environment to share readers today. At the same time, the project also evaluated, surveyed and researched the mass media in the interaction with electronic media and Mega story genre in this new type. In order to assess properly, the thesis conducts surveys, summarizes, describes and analyzes the general public reading electronic media in general and Mega Story in Hanoi through a survey in July 2019 on the basic sentences, research questions. From researching the Mega story genre, the author has clarified the content, form, production method, and level of interaction of readers with this new type of journalism.
The production and Mega Story works have many similarities and differences with other types of newspapers in terms of content and form such as title, chapeau and content are all press subjects. However, the content of the Mega story is very magazine-specific. The presentation format of Mega Story is very special. It is a combination of many types such as text, video, audio, images, graphics, etc. Therefore, while producing this new type of journalism, it requires not only large investment in time, manpower and finance but also journalism way of thinking. Therefore, the number of works and press agencies in Vietnam producing this genre is still quite modest.
On the other hand, the thesis also investigates the level of public acceptance of Mega Story in online newspaper with 55% to 56% of readers following daily, 35% to 36% weekly. In general, this number corresponds to about 90% to 91% of Mega Story readers in online newspaper.
The recommendations in the thesis are drawn from a medium-sized study, the public survey in Hanoi, so it is only suggestive and needs to be further discussed and studied at higher levels. At the same time, this research has better contributed to the development of Mega story genre in electronic media in Vietnam.
12. Practical applicability, if any: The application and thesis of this thesis has high practical application value. At the same time, it has been applied to production in the press agencies themselves while researching.
13. Further research directions, if any: The topic can be further studied at higher levels. With the direction of research on production, dissemination of this genre should be changed from traditional office model to convergence?
