10. Summary of the thesis results:
- To clarify the true nature of South Korea's cultural cooperation policy with Vietnam, helping the Vietnamese government better understand its South Korean partner in cultural cooperation.
- This reflects the process by which South Korea has implemented its cultural cooperation policy with Vietnam, as well as the achievements of that policy since the two countries signed the Cultural Cooperation Agreement in 1994 until now.
- To assess the impact of South Korea's cultural cooperation policy with Vietnam from 1994 to the present; to identify limitations and negative aspects of South Korea's cultural cooperation policy, and its evolving trends; to propose recommendations to the Vietnamese government to mitigate negative factors and promote positive aspects of South Korea's cultural cooperation policy with Vietnam; and to draw lessons for Vietnam in formulating its cultural diplomacy policy during the period of integration and development.
11. Practical applications:
This thesis on South Korea's cultural cooperation policy with Vietnam has high practical applicability. The research findings can serve as a basis for developing and planning Vietnam's cultural cooperation policies with foreign partners, primarily South Korea, in the new era. For decades, South Korea has developed culture into a distinct economic "industry" with a comprehensive "cultural export" strategy, creating the massive "Korean Wave" in the region. In contrast, for Vietnam, these are only new concepts mentioned in this research. Therefore, South Korea's cultural cooperation policy with Vietnam deserves to be considered a valuable "lesson" for Vietnam to study and apply, specifically in planning strategies for promoting and enhancing Vietnam's image and exporting Vietnamese culture abroad. This thesis can serve as a reference for state cultural management agencies to develop appropriate strategies to promote the achievements of cultural cooperation between Vietnam and South Korea.
12. Future research directions:
Based on the successfully defended thesis, the author will develop the research topic by comparing South Korea's cultural cooperation policy with Vietnam and with South Korea's cultural cooperation policy with other East Asian partners such as China, Japan, and Taiwan, where the "Korean Wave" (Hanllyu) is strong. If this research direction is favorable, the author may develop it into a doctoral dissertation, conducted in either South Korea or Vietnam.

11. Practical applicability, if any:
The practical application of the thesis is high. The result can be applied for the development and planning of Vietnam's policies on cultural cooperation with other partners, especially in the new period. Since many years, Korea had developed its culture to become an “industry” aiming to export. This phenomenon has become the "Korean Wave" in the region and the world. Meanwhile, cultural export is mentioned as a case study in Vietnam.
Therefore, the thesis is considered as a lesson for Vietnam to study and apply in planning and promoting the image of the country as well as exporting Vietnamese culture to the world.
