These changes in China's defense strategy are reflected in the development of the Chinese armed forces, both theoretically and practically. The author also assesses the impact of China's national defense strategy on the international community, the region, and Vietnam; thereby offering suggestions and recommendations for Vietnam. Based on this, the author provides some predictions about China's national defense strategy in the coming years.

The thesis analyzes China's defense strategy from 2013 to present through analysis and assessment of China's white papers in 2013 and 2015. The strategy has been changed through different time periods, depends on China's opinion on the internal, regional and international situation. The changes were shown by China armed forces' development in both theories and practices. Also, the author estimates the effects of strategy on regional and international situation as well as proposed some suggestions to Vietnam. Finally, the author suggested the strategy's forecasts in the coming years.
