10. Summary of thesis results:
The master's thesis, titled "Storytelling Methods Using Infographics on Television," consists of three chapters:
Chapter 1: The Theoretical Foundations of Using Graphics to Contribute to Visual Storytelling
Chapter 2: The Successes and Limitations of Using Graphic Information to Contribute to Storytelling on Television
Chapter 3: Designing the "Graphics Handbook" – for Television Editors.
This thesis focuses on analyzing the successes and limitations of using infographics on VTV1 and VITV channels. In addition, the thesis surveys several news articles on other local television channels and compares them with the use of infographics on some foreign television channels such as Bloomberg, CNBC, CNN, and Fox.
Through this survey, compared to the results of previous theses on the same topic, the author found that the use of graphic information to contribute to storytelling on television has changed and kept pace with modern trends. However, certain limitations still exist regarding the use of graphic colors, motion effects between symbols, etc., especially the use of 3D videographics/motion graphics, which are still sourced from abroad.
Based on these limitations, and comparing them with foreign publications and keeping up with new graphic design trends, the author designed a 31-page "Graphic Design Handbook" (for television editors). The main content of the handbook aims to provide basic graphic design principles and models for contributing to visual storytelling, thus serving as a helpful reference for television editors in effectively interacting with graphic design techniques. To illustrate the theory, the author also redesigned some news/articles with limitations to make them easier for readers to understand.
11. Practical application:
The "Graphics Handbook for Television Editors" is a useful reference document that helps editors interact effectively with graphic designers, contributing to the effective presentation of news/articles.

10. Summary of the findings of the thesis:
Thesis with title: " Storytelling methods using infographics on television" consists of 3 chapters:
Chapter 1: The theoretical basis of using graphics to help visualize the story.
Chapter 2: The Success and Limitations of using information graphics to support storytelling on TV.
Chapter 3: Designing a "Graphic Handbook" - for Editors.
The thesis focuses on the success and limitations of the use of information graphics on VTV1 and VITV channels. In addition, the thesis surveys a number of articles on other local television channels and compares them with the use of infographics on some foreign television channels such as Bloomberg. CNBC, CNN and Fox.
Through the survey, the thesis compared to the results of the previous thesis which has the same topic, the author noticed that the use of graphical information to help storytelling on television has changed and caught up the trend of the times. However, there are still some restrictions on the use of color graphics, motion effects between symbols, and so on. In particular, Videographics / MotionGraphics (3D motion graphics) still come from foreign journalism sources.
Based on these limitations, compared to foreign media and updated with new graphic design trends, the author has designed a 31-page "Graphic Notebook" (for television editors). The main content of the handbook is to provide basic graphic design principles and models in the contribution of visual storytelling.
11. Practical applicability, if any:
“Graphic Notebook” (for television editor) is a useful reference for the editor to interact effectively with graphic designers, contributing to the effectiveness of the article.
