11. Summary of thesis results:
With the goal of becoming an industrialized country by 2020, vocational training plays a central role in the goal, especially in developing training for highly skilled technical workers.
Vinh Phuc is considered one of the provinces with rapid urbanization. Accordingly, agricultural land is gradually narrowing due to the process of land clearance for industrial parks, entertainment services and most recently the Noi Bai - Lao Cai expressway project. . The new direction for localities with urbanization is to change the occupational structure from agriculture to other industries. However, in order to develop the local socio-economy in that direction, the requirement for human resources is always the focus of the problem - requiring workers to participate in vocational training.
Kim Long is one of the communes with the largest area of agricultural land recovered in Tam Duong district. For that reason, the commune government has paid great attention to the issue of vocational training - especially vocational training for young people of working age.
Researching on vocational training for working-age youth, the thesis has shown the following results:
Firstly, the thesis has studied the vocational training policies and programs for young people that are being implemented in the area. Initial results show that the implementation of vocational training policies and programs has achieved certain results - contributing to improving the socio-economic life of the locality.
Second: The author focuses on analyzing factors affecting vocational learners such as age, education, access to policies and urbanization issues that directly affect vocational learners to see the current vocational learning situation of young people. Thereby, understanding the actual needs of the learners in choosing vocational courses.
Third: From the current status of policies being implemented and factors affecting vocational training subjects in Kim Long commune, the author of the thesis has evaluated some roles of social workers in supporting young people participating in vocational training.
12. Practical applicability: The thesis reflects the vocational training situation in the research area, this will be one of the data to evaluate the effectiveness of vocational training programs and policies being implemented in Kim Long commune. The research results will be one of the bases for policy makers to study, supplement and adjust policies related to labor-employment and career guidance-vocational training issues. More importantly, assessments of the role of social workers in vocational training for young people at the grassroots level will have directions for training social workers to meet the practical requirements of the job.

Vinh Phuc is considered as one of the provinces with the extremely rapid process of urbanization. Consequently, the area of farmland has decreased gradually due to clearance of land devoted to industrial parks, recreational services, and Noi Bai – Lao Cao highway project recently. A new approach to the local urbanization process is restructuring occupations from agriculture to other sectors. In order to push the process of the local'ssocio-economic development in terms of restructuring, however, the requirement of human resources is undoubtedldy at the heart of the problem, which calls for employees to be involved in vocational training.
Kim Long is a commune of the province whose agricultural land has been withdrawn the most in Tam Duong district. Therefore, authorities were very concerned about the issue of vocational training especially for young people in working age.
In terms of research on this issue, the thesis has highlighted some of the following results:
Firstly: This thesis explores the policies and programs of vocational training for the youth deploying in the area. Initially, the implementing policies and vocational training programs have achieved some remarkable contributions to improve the socio-economic life of the province.
Secondly: The author focuses on analyzing factors affecting vocational learners such as age, education, policy access and urbanization issue in order to show the status of vocational education for youth, thereby, figuring out the actual needs of the learner in the selection of vocational courses.
Third: Since the status of policies being implemented and the factors affecting subjects of Kim Long, author of the thesis has evaluated a number of roles of social workers in supporting subjects participating youth apprenticeship.
11. Practical abilities:The thesis reflects the status of vocational training in the researched area, which is one of the data to assess the effectiveness of programs and vocational training policies implemented on Kim Long commune. Results of the study will be one of the basis for the policy research activities complement and adjust policies related to the issue of the employment and career-oriented vocational training. More importantly, according to the evaluation of the social workers' role in the issues of youth apprenticeship, the authorities will initiate the orientation for social workers to meet the practical requirements of the jobs and opptunities.
