When conducting research on this topic, we aimed at the following goals:

- First, find out the current status of social network usage among young people.

- Second, research, analyze, and evaluate the impact of social networks on young people's lifestyle, information collection, reception, connection, sharing, and transmission, as well as their views on social networks and traditional press.

- Third, see the problems facing traditional journalism in the face of the development of social media and at the same time provide some directions for the development of traditional journalism in the context of social media strongly impacting the young audience.

Achieving the above objectives, the topic also has certain contributions, which is to recognize the impacts of social networks on Vietnamese youth, and at the same time, to give some opinions and suggestions for traditional press in the context of social media is developing explosively with the audience being young people. In addition, the limitations of the topic, I think, can also create interest for those who are interested in this issue.
