Firstly, the thesis collects and systematizes documents to clarify the viewpoints of the Communist Party of Vietnam on the work of mobilizing Vietnamese people abroad (2001 - 2014); Secondly, the thesis studies the Party's policies and the process of implementing the work of mobilizing Vietnamese people abroad (2001 - 2014); Thirdly, the thesis gives some opinions to evaluate the achievements and limitations in the Party's work of mobilizing Vietnamese people abroad (2001 - 2014); Fourthly, the thesis initially draws out the main experiences to serve the work of mobilizing Vietnamese people abroad in the current period.

But besides that, the work still has many limitations, so the thesis is partly a reference source to further enhance the effectiveness of the work of mobilizing NVNONN in the coming period.
