The thesis is a new research direction in social work to contribute to enhancing the role of social workers in early intervention with autistic children.

The thesis surveys the current status of early intervention for autistic children at the Center for Special Education Research, Vietnam Institute of Educational Sciences, and factors affecting early intervention. Based on the survey of the current status of early intervention, the thesis proposes measures based on the role of social workers to contribute to improving the effectiveness of early intervention for autistic children.

11. Practical applicability: The results of the thesis can be used as a reference for some studies in social work on autistic children. In addition, social workers working with autistic children can use the measures proposed in the thesis in the early intervention process for autistic children.

Thesis is a new research directions in social work aims to contribute improve the role of social workers in early intervention with autism children.

The thesis also reveals the current status of early intervention education of at the Research Center of Special Education, Institute of Education Sciences Vietnam and the factors which have influenced on the effectiveness of early intervention method. Based on the current status, measures of the thesis are built in base on the role of social workers in order to improve the effectiveness of early intervention.

The results of the thesis can make reference material to some research in social work for autism children, in addition to social workers working with autism children may be used measures proposed in the thesis on early intervention for autism children.
