The thesis presents an overview of anxiety disorders and intervention for a school with generalized anxiety disorder using cognitive behavioral therapy.
The main content of the thesis focuses on reporting the assessment and intervention process for an adult with anxiety disorder based on cognitive behavioral therapy. The thesis uses treatment techniques to achieve the following goals in the intervention process: (1) Reduce anxiety symptoms, (2) Help the client perceive his son's condition correctly, (3) Improve quality of life, (4) Improve relationships with people around. After 8 intervention sessions, the evaluation of the intervention effectiveness based on the client's opinion showed a significant reduction in anxiety disorder symptoms.
