10. Summary of the thesis results:
Through the examination of three epic poems, "Shadows Falling on the Sun," "The Day is Dawning," and "Each Flower a Sun," this thesis clarifies the content and artistic characteristics of Tran Anh Thai's epic poems about war. Regarding content, the thesis particularly emphasizes his unique perspective on war: viewing the pain of war from a human point of view, imbued with humanism and compassion, without distinguishing between friend and foe when expressing reflections on the suffering of war. Regarding art, the thesis highlights the shift in structural form from a narrative to a more reflective and philosophical style, alongside the presentation of symbolic systems and characteristics of poetic form, tone, and language. These novel aspects distinguish Tran Anh Thai's epic poems from others and open a new direction in the development of epic poetry during a period when it was no longer as popular as before. Simultaneously, it affirms the author's success in this niche genre.

Having served 3 epics named “Do the bubbles fall to the ground”, “Right in the morning” and “Every kind of flower a mat troi”, in our thesis, we clarify the content and form characteristics of epics which are about war of Tran Anh Thai's. For content, the thesis especially emphasizes that the way Tran Anh Thai is aware of war is strange: the author doesn't have any distintion between Vietnamese and enemies, it is the same in people's pain and loss for Vietnamese or their opponents. So, that is human feelings and thoughts to mention war. For form, the thesis makes an emphasis on struture changing from narative struture into thoughtful one. In additions, the thesis also comes up in other items: symbol sytem, combination of stype of poetry, language and tone.
