After researching the impact of US-China high-tech competition on the world and regional political-security situation, and its implications for Vietnam, the students have completed the project's objectives and tasks. A summary of some results is as follows:
- In chapter 1, the author has discussed and clarified the contents related to the concepts of "high technology", "high-tech competition", the causes and manifestations of US-China high-tech competition.
- In chapter 2, the author evaluates and analyzes the intertwined impacts of US-China high-tech competition on the political-security situation in the world, the region and Vietnam.
- In chapter 3, the author predicted the trend of US-China competition in the high-tech sector in the coming time. On that basis, the author also gave some suggestions for reference for Vietnam.
12. Practical applicability: The research results help to systematize the most basic issues related to the US-China high-tech competition, including clarifying the policies and strategies for high-tech development of the US and China; the current state of competition between the US and China in each aspect of the high-tech sector; systematizing the negative impacts of this competition on the world and regional political-security situation; clearly indicating the movement trends to promptly identify which opportunities Vietnam can seize as well as which risks to the country.

Further research directions: In the coming time, the author will continue to research the future trend of US-China high-tech competition, affecting the world and regional political-security situation because US-China high-tech competition is part of the strategic competition between these two powers; thereby, continuing to provide suggestions and issues of concern for Vietnam.
