The thesis has given a general overview of the natural conditions, socio-economic conditions of Ha Tien land and the historical steps of Buddhism in Ha Tien land since its introduction to the present. The formation, organizational structure and activities of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Ha Tien city. The thesis has given a general overview of the content of social charity expressed in Buddhist teachings and affirmed that social charity is a very interested activity of Vietnamese Buddhism through historical periods. The thesis has analyzed the current status of social charity work of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Ha Tien city in terms of management of charity activities and content of charity activities. From there, it evaluates the social charity work of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Ha Tien city in terms of advantages and achievements, some issues raised and makes recommendations to improve the effectiveness of charity work of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Ha Tien city.
