The thesis has generalized the natural and socio-economic conditions of Ha Tien and the historical steps of Buddhism in Ha Tien since its introduction until now. The formation, organizational structure and activities of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Ha Tien city. The thesis has generalized the content of social charity expressed in Buddhist tenet and affirmed that social charity is a very important activity of Vietnamese Buddhism through historical periods. The thesis analyzes current status of social charity work ofVietnam Buddhist Sangha in Ha Tien city in espects of management of charity activities and content of charity activities. From there, evaluate the social charity work of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Ha Tien city in terms of advantages and achievements, some problems and make recommendations to improve efficiency of social charity work of Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Ha Tien city.
