The thesis has analyzed and clarified the basic contents of the doctrine and ethical categories of Kinh Theravada Buddhism in Can Tho. The introduction of Kinh Theravada Buddhism into Vietnam and Can Tho city; The current status of the ethical life of Kinh Theravada monks in Can Tho city. From there, it analyzed and clarified the influences of Kinh Theravada Buddhism on the ethical life of Can Tho city's people. Through the aspects of ideology, concept, lifestyle, customs, habits, culture, festivals, etc., under the influence of Kinh Theravada Buddhism, it reflects the general picture of the ethical life of local people. Kinh Theravada Buddhism in Can Tho guides Buddhists to study the Abhidharma, an important part of Buddhist teachings, helping Buddhists understand the teachings of the Buddha accurately. Guide Buddhist laypeople to practice Vipassana meditation to enhance mindfulness, which benefits the spiritual life of believers.
