This thesis analyzes and clarifies the basic doctrines and ethical categories of Theravada Buddhism in Can Tho. It examines the introduction of Theravada Buddhism into Vietnam and Can Tho city, and the current state of the ethical life of Theravada monks in Can Tho city. From this, it analyzes and clarifies the influence of Theravada Buddhism on the ethical life of the people of Can Tho city. Through aspects of thought, concepts, lifestyle, customs, traditions, culture, festivals, etc., the study reflects the overall picture of the ethical life of the local people under the influence of Theravada Buddhism. Theravada Buddhism in Can Tho guides Buddhists in studying Abhidharma, an important part of Buddhist doctrine, helping them understand the Buddha's teachings accurately.
