The thesis has analyzed and clarified the basic contents of the doctrine and ethical categories of Kinh Theravada Buddhism in Can Tho. The introduction of Kinh Theravada Buddhism into Vietnam and Can Tho city; The current status of the ethical life of Kinh Theravada monks in Can Tho city. From there, it analyzed and clarified the influences of Kinh Theravada Buddhism on the ethical life of Can Tho city's people. Through the aspects of ideology, concept, lifestyle, customs, habits, culture, festivals, etc., under the influence of Kinh Theravada Buddhism, it reflects the general picture of the ethical life of local people. Kinh Theravada Buddhism in Can Tho guides Buddhists to study the Abhidharma, an important part of Buddhist teachings, helping Buddhists understand the teachings of the Buddha accurately. Guide Buddhist laypeople to practice Vipassana meditation to enhance mindfulness, which benefits the spiritual life of believers. The thesis also raises a number of issues and recommendations for the management of the State, the Church, monks and Buddhists. According to the current trend, Kinh Theravada Buddhism needs to have training schools to keep up with the development of the Church in particular and of the Society in general. Specifically, it is recommended to the leaders of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha to allow the Khmer Theravada Buddhist Academy to cooperate in opening more Bachelor of Buddhist Studies classes for Kinh Theravada Buddhism in general, in Can Tho city in particular, to contribute to the common development of the Church, promoting positive values ​​in the cultural and moral life of the people of Can Tho city.
