Firstly, the thesis has systematized the overview of research and theoretical basis on community tourism such as: research, introduction of community tourism and community tourism in Ha Giang and Hoang Su Phi district; community tourism models in the world and in Vietnam and drawn lessons; clarified related concepts (community, community tourism, tourism products); stated factors affecting the development of community tourism.
Second, the thesis analyzed the conditions for developing community tourism of the Dao people in Hoang Su Phi district, Ha Giang province, including natural conditions and socio-cultural conditions. In addition, the thesis clarified the participation of stakeholders to develop community tourism of the Dao people here. Thereby, drawing out the advantages and disadvantages.
Third, the thesis has clarified the development of community tourism of the Dao people in Hoang Su Phi district, Ha Giang province, including: community tourism villages of the Dao people and community tourism products of the Dao people being exploited.
