Through practical research at Binh Hai parish, Nam Dinh province, this thesis clarifies the current state of Catholic marriage in Binh Hai parish, focusing primarily on identifying and analyzing the difficulties and challenges facing Catholic marriage in Binh Hai parish, Nam Dinh province in the current context.
In the current context, Catholic marriage in Binh Hai parish still preserves the beauty of Catholic marriage by combining Catholic marriage rites with traditional marriage rites, as well as maintaining the stability of marriage. However, along with the movement and changes in social life, Catholic marriage in Binh Hai parish has been and is facing many difficulties and challenges. These include difficulties in receiving the Sacrament of Matrimony; challenges of cohabitation and premarital relationships; challenges in maintaining the stability of Catholic marriage; and challenges in interfaith marriage.
