Based on a general overview of the economic, social, cultural conditions and traditional festivals of Dong Anh district, Hanoi city (on some basic aspects such as the system and classification, characteristics of traditional festivals, and presentation of some typical festivals corresponding to the classification), the thesis has pointed out the role of traditional festivals in the material and spiritual life of the people of Dong Anh district, Hanoi city in the current period.
Based on theoretical and practical foundations, the thesis also points out the trends of change in traditional festivals in Dong Anh district, Hanoi city in the coming time.
This thesis provides an objective assessment of the conservation and promotion of traditional festivals in Dong Anh district, Hanoi city, in the current period, considering both achievements and existing problems. Based on this, it proposes solutions to further enhance the effectiveness of conservation and promotion of traditional festivals in Dong Anh district, Hanoi city, in the current period.
