In life, nothing is more important to you than yourself, a healthy body, a peaceful mind—that is true human happiness. Health always plays a crucial role, a precious asset for each individual and for society. It is an indispensable foundation for creating happiness for individuals, for the development of each person, each family, and society as a whole.
Today, health information is abundant but also complex and difficult to understand, with new terminology about diseases, technical terms for diagnostic and treatment methods, and the identities of disease-causing agents. Raising awareness and providing the public with a correct understanding of health, offering scientific knowledge about health care and protection, and methods for preventing and treating diseases to achieve the desired health indicators, remains a pressing issue. This is especially true in the current era, when the environment—land, water, and air—is polluted, and major pandemics and dangerous diseases affecting humanity remain unresolved. Health communication will help the public gain more knowledge, change their lifestyles, adopt good practices, and eliminate bad ones. Simultaneously, it will promote healthy behaviors to protect their own health.
As a powerful communication tool for the Party and State's policies and guidelines, the press has made significant contributions to informing and reflecting the current health status of the people, providing information on advanced disease treatments, medical achievements, and health advice to the community. It can be said that never before has health information occupied so much space in newspapers, airtime on radio, and television programs as it does today.
Radio waves are an effective means of meeting the information needs of all aspects of social life in a concise, rapid manner, simultaneously satisfying many audiences in many places.
Due to the aforementioned issues, this thesis will explore and discuss "Health communication on radio broadcasts".
