Summary of thesis results: Systematizing theoretical and practical aspects of linkage and integration trends in the globalization process; Analyzing how factors in security, politics, economics, and social aspects at the domestic, regional, and international levels impact the possibility of forming a free trade area among the three major economies of Northeast Asia; Based on the research results, the thesis will develop several scenarios on the possibility of forming a China-Japan-Korea Free Trade Area in the short term (up to 2015); assessing the impacts of the possibility of forming a free trade area between the three countries on Vietnam and offering some suggestions for Vietnam.
