Summary of the results of the thesis: The thesis focuses on surveying and analyzing word usage errors of Chinese students. In which, we conducted a survey of two main types of errors, which are: errors on the structural level of words and errors on the semantic level of words. Based on the Modern Error Analysis Theory, we describe, analyze, and find out the causes of errors in order to find specific solutions for Chinese students. 12. Practical applicability: The research results of the thesis are an important source of data contributing to the compilation of textbooks, changing teaching methods, and compiling exercise systems suitable for Chinese students. 13. Further research directions: From the study of word usage errors of Chinese students, we have a direction for further research on the errors in using Chinese words of Korean, Chinese, and Japanese students. 14.
