10. Summary of the thesis results:

Based on the analysis and explanation of theoretical issues regarding training linkages between schools and businesses, the role of training linkages in promoting human resource training, the content of training linkages, as well as experiences of training linkage models in some countries around the world and in Vietnam, this thesis clarifies the current state of training linkages between the Mining and Geology University and FECON Foundation Engineering and Underground Works Joint Stock Company, analyzing the causes and issues raised.

The collaborative training program between the University of Mining and Geology and FECON Foundation Engineering and Underground Works Joint Stock Company has initially yielded positive results. However, these results are still superficial, stemming from joint activities such as FECON's support in establishing a scholarship fund for high-achieving students at the University of Mining and Geology, and conferences and seminars on areas of mutual interest. Other collaborative training initiatives, while established, have either not been implemented effectively or have been ineffective. This is due to the lack of binding mechanisms between the two parties, the government's lack of regulatory involvement, and the fact that neither the enterprise nor the university has truly prioritized this collaboration.

This thesis asserts that the training partnership between schools and businesses is a model that helps leverage the strengths of each party, with the common goal of improving the quality of human resource training. Therefore, this model needs to be promoted and expanded based on the practical conditions of each school and business. However, for this model to be truly effective, it needs to be bound by legal and financial mechanisms, thereby creating accountability in the human resource training partnership between the two parties: the school and the business.

11. Practical applications:

The research findings of this thesis can serve as a basis for reference and verification to adjust the current cooperation mechanism between the University of Mining and Geology and FECON Foundation Engineering and Underground Works Joint Stock Company. This will promote human resource training between the two sides – making a significant contribution to the strategic cooperation direction between the University of Mining and Geology and FECON Foundation Engineering and Underground Works Joint Stock Company.

The research findings of this thesis can also serve as a reference for other specific school-business training partnership models, with appropriate adjustments made depending on the actual conditions and development direction of the businesses and schools.

12. Future research directions: None

13. Published works related to the thesis: None

10. Summary of the findings of the thesis:

Based on the analysis and interpretation of theories about training cooperation between schools and enterprises, the role of training cooperation with the promotion of human resource training, content of training cooperation and experiences from training cooperation model of some countries around the world as well as Vietnam, the thesis explains the status of training cooperation activities between the Hanoi University of Mining and Geology (HUMG) and FECON Foundation Engineering and Underground Construction JSC, analyzed the causes and the issues that were raised.

Training cooperation between HUMG and FECON FECON initially had good results. However, it just has stopped at the surface of some activities of the two sides. For examples, FECON grant the scholarships for students getting the good results for their study and research. FECON also holds the conference or workshop discussing all areas of expertise by the two sides.

Other training cooperation activities also have built between HUMG and FECON, but when applying these activities, it is not really effective.

The reason is still not having binding mechanism between the two sides, the government has not acceded to regulate, enterprises and school themselves have not really paid as much as attention to this work.

Thesis asserts that the training cooperation between schools and enterprises is a model to help raise the strength of each party with the common goal is the quality of human resource training. Therefore, this model should be promoted and expanded on the basis of practice, and the conditions of each particular enterprise and school. However, to promote this model effectively, it should be bound by the laws and mechanisms of finance, thereby creating accountability in the human resource training cooperation between the two sides: Schools and enterprises.

11. Practical applicability, if any:

The results of the thesis can completely be a basis for reference and testing in order to adjust existing mechanisms of cooperation between HUMG and FECON, then promote the training of human resources between the two sides. This work will be an important contribution to the strategic direction of cooperation between HUMG and FECON.

The results of the thesis can also be referenced to the training cooperation model of the other schools and enterprises. It depends on the actual conditions and development of each enterprise and school to have suitable adjustments.
