This thesis examines the role of three major online forums in Vietnam in generating social capital. The research contributes to building a theoretical and practical foundation for studying social capital in the development of social networks through online forums.

The research findings of this thesis suggest that social capital can be applied to the development of social networks through electronic forums in Vietnam, aiming to satisfy individual needs while making a positive contribution to the community.

+ Thesis studied the role of electronic forum in generating social on the 3 major electronic forum in Vietnam today. The study contributes to building a theoretical basis and practical for the study of social capital in the development of social networks through electronic forums.
Research on the width and depth relationships on electronic forums shows that:

+ Provides various ways individual links in forum
+ To enhance depth of personal relationships in the forums
+ Maintain constant connection to members
