10. Summary of thesis results:

The results of the study showed that happiness, narcissism, and self-esteem all showed high and significant correlations among the components of happiness (emotional happiness, psychological happiness, social happiness, and general happiness).

In general, students rated their happiness, narcissism and self-esteem at an average level, with the average score of self-esteem (4.64) being higher than that of narcissism (3.76). This shows that students value personal values and qualities more than egotism, thinking themselves superior, arrogant... compared to others.

The correlation between happiness, narcissism and self-esteem shows that both narcissism and self-esteem are significant to happiness. This shows that loving yourself, appreciating your values and qualities, and having a positive view of yourself… are important factors that determine the subjective happiness of each individual.

The difference between male and female students is also evident. Male students tend to feel happy when they can show off their individuality, superiority and power. This is different from female students when statistics show that female students value personal values, personality qualities, and have a more positive view of themselves to feel happy.

Economic conditions do not necessarily mean unhappiness when the data in our topic shows that students with below average income are mostly happier than students with average income or above. In fact, most students have low income, mainly receive subsidies from their families and work part-time in their free time. They feel happy because their ego, personality and differences are accepted and supported by friends and relatives, which makes them feel happier.

11. Practical application:

The research results of the thesis are a useful reference for organizations, departments, and unions to come up with appropriate solutions to make students feel happier.

12. Further research directions:

In the future, our research will focus more on relational self-esteem, national self-esteem, communal narcissism, and national narcissism.

10. Summary of the thesis's findings:

Results of the research show that personal well-being, narcissism and self-esteem all express a high and significant correlation of components in personal well-being (emotional well-being, psychological well-being, social well-being and general well-being).

In general, students rate the level of personal well-being, narcissism and self-esteem at average in which average point of self-esteem (4.64) is higher than average point of narcissism (3.76). Based on that, students show more respects for virtue of people than for selfishness, arrogance and entitlement.

The relationship between personal well-being, narcissism and self-esteem shows that both narcissism and self-esteem have a significant relationship with personal well-being. In conclusion, loving your-self along with appreciating values, virtues and having a positive view of your-self are the most important things that determine the subjective happiness of each individual.

The difference between male and female students is also evident. Male students tend to feel happy when they are able to show off themselves, their superiority and authority. This is different compared to female students since statistics show that female students are more likely to promote personal values, virtues and have a positive view of themselves to feel happier.

Economic status does not really show happiness of ones. Based on statistics of our topic, the majority of students with below-average income feel happier than those who have above-average income. In fact, most students have low income, they mainly receive allowances from family and have a part-time job in their free time. They are happier because their ego, personality and differences are accepted and supported by family and friends.
