The topic "Cultural personality of Mahathir Mohamad" has contributed to clarifying some basic theoretical issues about personality, cultural personality and the context of the formation of cultural personality of Mahathir Mohamad. Based on scientific research, document analysis clarifies the portrait of the cultural personality of an outstanding leader of Malaysia - Mahathir Mohamad as an Islamist and as a national leader: moderate but not lacking in courage and determination; carrying a national ideology striving to build a harmonious and unified Malaysia.

The thesis “The Cultural Personality of Mathir Mohamad” makes a contribution to elucidate some issues of the basic theories about personality, cultural personality and the context which forms the cultural personality of Mahathir Mohamad. Based on the scientific research base, the researcher analyzed the materials and elucidated the cultural personality portrait of the outstanding leader in Malaysia- Mahathir Mohamad- as a mussulman and as a national leader who is mild but brave and decisive and brings the national ideology along to strive to build a harmony and united Malaysia.
