- Studying the awareness of people in Yen Bai province about domestic violence through identifying behaviors, causes, consequences and state policies on domestic violence. The results show that awareness of domestic violence among people in Yen Bai province has recently changed positively. However, there are differences between people living in urban and rural areas, between men and women, between rich and poor people, between people with high and low education levels.

- Make recommendations to raise local people's awareness of domestic violence and domestic violence prevention.
