Firstly, the thesis has highlighted the context of the birth and development of Buddhism from India to the world and the introduction and development of Korean Buddhism.
Second, the thesis analyzed the basic theoretical issues of Tantric Buddhism. On that basis, the thesis focused on introducing the traces of Tantric Buddhism in Korean culture, thereby generalizing the characteristics and features of Korean Tantric Buddhism in the medieval period.
Third, the thesis also points out the important contributions of Tantric Buddhism to the social culture and indigenous beliefs of the Korean people.
Thereby, the thesis has sketched a comprehensive picture of Korean Tantric Buddhism, contributing to gradually filling the gaps that we need in the study of Korean Buddhism, and at the same time providing a new perspective in the study of Koreans in Vietnam.
