Summary of Thesis Results: Stemming from the psychological difficulties that students often encounter during their studies and life in Hanoi, we conducted research on the topic "The Need for Psychological Counseling Among Students at Several Universities in Hanoi". The study was conducted on 496 students at several universities using research methods such as questionnaires, in-depth interviews, and mathematical statistics. The study revealed that the current need for psychological counseling among students is very high. The needs for psychological counseling are diverse but focus on issues related to academics, social relationships, personal development, and career and employment orientation. The study also identified factors affecting the satisfaction of students' psychological counseling needs. In particular, factors such as limited media promotion, low professionalism in counseling activities, and the influence of East Asian culture have hindered the satisfaction of psychological counseling needs for many university students in Hanoi. Based on this, the study proposes several recommendations such as strengthening professional counseling activities through promoting specialized training in counseling, and enhancing communication about professional counseling to meet the current psychological counseling needs of students. 11. Practical application: The research provides a scientific basis for building and developing a model of psychological counseling for students in colleges and universities today. 12.
