From this, it provides an overview of the history, geography, and culture of Soc Son District. Research on the stele inscriptions of Soc Son district also contributes to the study of stele inscriptions in general. It affirms the great value of stele in the study of local culture and history: customs, beliefs, traditional crafts, the spirit of learning, etc. The thesis also specifically presents the characteristics of stele inscriptions in the district: the decorative themes on the stele, the authors who composed the stele, the writing style, and the stone carvers. From there, it provides comprehensive observations and assessments of the value of the stele in this area. 11. Summary of the findings of the thesis: The thesis has studied the epitaphs of Socson District and we hope to give a big vision about its history, geography, culture to assert that Socson is the place where has a long history and a great cultural value. Studying the epitaphs of Socson District also gives a part into studying the epitaphs to confirm the importance of epitaphs in reseaching the local historic culture: custom, traditional hand-made careers, religion, learning foundation.
